

Escape to the Hermitage at the Eco-Justice Center—a cozy one-room cabin nestled in the woods, perfect for rest and reflection. With a fireplace, comfy seating, and a screened-in porch, it offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature.
Enjoy simple comforts like a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and composting toilet, with fresh water provided. Thoughtfully built with reclaimed materials and black walnut flooring from a tree grown on-site, it’s a space rooted in sustainability.
Stay solo or with a loved one for up to three nights and recharge in nature’s quiet embrace.
Rental fee and booking:
$60/night for 2 adults (maximum of 2 people)
Non-refundable deposit of $20 must be made at least 48 hours prior to your stay in order to reserve the space.
*Please try to reach out for booking at least 4-7 days prior to your desired stay to allow time for processing and communication with the Hermitage Coordinator.
Length of stay:
Limited to 3 nights. Check-in after 2pm, check-out by 11am

- Bed linens, towels

- water cistern

- toilet paper
Notes:
- WI-FI is spotty, but if you use data the signal is consistent.
- The hermitage is not wheelchair accessible.
- No smoking allowed on Eco-J grounds.
- Due to free range animals, no pets allowed with the exception of working service animals.
- There is no access to main farm house.
