The Way We Farm

Our Land Stewardship Program is rooted in the belief that caring for the earth and caring for our community go hand in hand. Through practices such as tree planting and the use of biochar, we work to mitigate climate change by increasing carbon sequestration while also strengthening the long-term health of the land. In our production garden, we utilize organic growing practices that prioritize ecological balance, healthy soil, and sustainable food production.

The impact of the garden extends far beyond the fields. Approximately 30% of the harvest is donated to local food pantries to help increase access to fresh, healthy food within our community. Another 30% is distributed through our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, connecting community members directly to locally grown produce. The remaining harvest supports our educational field trips, summer camps, and farm stand, ensuring that fresh food and hands-on learning opportunities remain accessible to all ages.

Our land stewardship crew focuses on rebuilding soil health, conserving water, and reducing food waste throughout every stage of production. By integrating sustainable farming methods with education and community outreach, the program demonstrates how thoughtful stewardship can nurture both people and the planet for generations to come.

CSA Program (Community Supported Agriculture)

Our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program offers community members the opportunity to directly support local, sustainable agriculture while enjoying fresh, seasonal produce. Designed as a small, community-centered program, our CSA includes only 10–12 memberships each season, allowing for a more personal connection between members, the farm, and the food they receive.

From June through October, members receive 12 boxes of organically grown produce and fresh-cut flowers. We strive to ensure that each box will have an average market value of $30. Boxes include fresh seasonal vegetables, fruits, herbs, and/or flowers. 2026 CSA Membership cost is $350. Each share reflects the diversity and beauty of the season while supporting our broader mission of environmental stewardship, education, and community nourishment.
